About Us

We are committed to serving the Christian Community in whatever way we can as well as maintaining a Christian presence in the town centre.

We carry a wide range of products including Bibles, books, music, DVDs, audio books, gifts, cards and children's goods. The shop, and the staff, are friendly and conducive to browsing, and we will do all we can to help and provide you with what you are looking for.

We celebrate, along with the Church community, all of the main Christian festivals including Christmas, Easter, Father's Day, Mother's Day, as well as celebrating with you those special occasions - births, baptisms, confirmations, dedications, engagements, weddings, etc. And, if someone needs a hug or a word of encouragement, we can usually find something that would speak as loud as words.

Trustees

Cornerstone Bookshop is managed by a Board of Trustees:

Richard Atkinson has been Chair of Trustees for more years than he would like to own up to. Having recently retired from Church leadership, Richard now spends his time walking dogs, teaching in church settings and looking after the day to day running of the shop.

Brian Cossins
A founding member of Logos, is currently Chairman of Churches Together in Gosport and keen allotment owner.

Lynn Petersen
Lynn is wife to Lars and has been involved in the shop over the years. She provides great support to the trustees through her thoughtful and creative inputs to trustees meetings.

Staff

Cornerstone Bookshop is staffed on a daily basis by a group of people who attend local churches. The staff work on a rota throughout the week, generally working 3 hours shifts, from 10am to 1pm, or 1pm to 4pm. The staff are there to serve you and help you to find the right products at the right price for you.
